It has been a busy final week of term! The children all performed amazingly well as part of our Christmas play, we hope that you enjoyed it! Thank you again to all parents who provided wonderful costumes – your support was very much appreciated.
We have managed to find time this week to complete our English work, we have been writing and editing diary entries as Lila. In science, we have been learning about the human digestive system. We recreated the digestive system so that we could really understand what happens at each stage. We have also been learning about herbivores, carnivores and omnivores. We did some Internet research in order to find out more about the diet of different animals. Finally we learnt about predators/ prey and we looked at different food chains.
On Wednesday we all enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch. Thank you to the PTA for giving each class money to spend on Christmas – today we have been busy with Christmas crafts (hopefully a mug has made its way home) and we really enjoyed our Christmas film party!
We would like to thank all of the Class 4 children and parents for the lovely Christmas cards and gifts. We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas and we look forward to seeing everyone in January 2019!
