On Tuesday, we had a visit from Mrs Pardoe. We really enjoyed listening to her talk about how we can be more successful learners. Mrs Pardoe, set us the challenge of making a purple place mat to remind us of how we can all be super learners!
In English this week we have written explanation texts on the Shirt Machine. We thought carefully about the layout of the page, the headings/ sub headings and the information that we needed to include. After half term, we will be looking at stories with issues and dilemmas.
In Computing this week, we finished off our Scratch maze games by playing and evaluating each other’s games.
In History this week we thought carefully about the break from Rome. We learnt about why Henry VIII started the Church of England and we thought about how this benefited the king.
In Art, we finished off our collages of the view out of the classroom window. We have used fabric, tissue paper and cotton wool on our landscapes.
