What an amazing way to finish off the half term and what a contrast to the high powered work of SATs. We started the week by celebrating our winning entry to the Parliament Flag competition and a few of the children were interviewed by Oxfordshire BBC radio. You can see some of our early drawings; the final design created by Alice Martin; and some photos of the Crowmarsh Gifford Flag (representing Oxfordshire and Berkshire) as part of the display in Parliament Square. Unfortunately the flags are only in the square until Friday but it will be paraded again in June in a later celebration. Well done Alice, we are so proud of your super design!
For the last 2 days of term we have a multicultural event, with Year Six being China. We made some fabulous kites and Mr Silvester took us on journey, flying us across the globe and taught us a few facts about The Great Wall and Chinese writing.
