Week 6 (18/05/2015)

What an eventful and industrious week we have had. We have painted flower pots and planted sunflowers. So please look after them at home during half term. Remember to water them as you will have to keep a diary to record how much they grow.

In Literacy lessons we have completed our books about nocturnal animals and written an account of sunflower seed planting.

In maths we have been rounding big numbers to 10 and 100, adding money and sequencing numbers. Everyone has taken home a folder of maths to practise their skills in readiness for tests in June. Some have completed it already as there is a sticker for every page completed!!  It is always going to be worth it if it means you get a sticker  : )

The week has ended on a high as we have been working our way around the world in multicultural week. I can safely say it has been good fun and the children have learnt new information and experienced lots of art, craft and music.

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable half term break.
