This week in English we have completed our work on The Secret Garden. We all wrote play scripts that were inspired by the book. Later in the week, we watched the section of the film when Mary goes into the secret garden. We noted down descriptive words/ phrase and then used this to write our own free verse poems. After half term we will be using the computer game Myst V as the basis for our work.
In Maths, we have been recapping written methods for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Please keep working on learning times tables and mental addition/ subtraction.
After half term, we will be learning about the remote Indian village of Chembakolli.
In Computing, we all worked really hard to produce amazing stop-frame animations. We hope to share our work soon!
