In English we have been working on the 500 word challenge, we had to include setting description and character description. Here is one sentence from a character description:
It was dark as death, with tendrils of mist feeling round every gutter, corner and paving stone, the fog stalked over eyes glaring, claws flaring, teeth bearing.

Here is an example of a setting description:
Gushing from the top, water struck down into a nice, refreshing, and pleasant pool. Then it meandered through the city like a slithering python.
Maths
In maths we have been doing place value, for example:
264.7÷10=26.47
5000.72×100=500,072
20.09×1000=20,090
