This week we have been doing, a do it solve it and deepen it worksheet about place value in maths. We have all been purple learners and have been brave and were trying are best.
In English we have been looking at apostrophes. There are two types, contractions and possession. Words that have been joint together and now have missing letters are contractions; the apostrophe goes where the missing letter was (e.g. couldn’t) . Something that belongs to something is possession and you put the apostrophe after the thing that owns it and add an s to show that it belongs to that thing (e.g. the cat’s whiskers).
In Art we have been creating Christmas cards for class fundraising please do buy our masterpieces.
In P.E with Mr Aplin we have been doing netball the skills we have been working on passing the ball into spaces to help get to the goal.
On Thursday we have been doing swimming lessons, this week we were working on front crawl and back crawl, our teachers are called Katie and Kate VERY CONFUSING.
