Dear Parents/Carers,
This week the children have been writing stories based on the story ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’. They used their story maps and told a peer their story. The children then used their knowledge of letters and sounds to write their story.
In maths the children have been solving problems involving addition using resources to help them with then talking about how they worked it out.
The children have been practising for sports day; they are beginning to work really well as a team for the relay. The children are very much looking forward to Sports day on Wednesday 5th July.
Remember to keep learning to recognise the flashcard graphemes, using them to practise reading and writing words.
