We have started a new unit of work in English this week on explanation texts. We have started to compare different texts and we have thought about the features of explanation texts. Next week, we will be starting to look at a short film about the ‘Shirt Machine’ and we will be explaining how it works.
In Maths this week, we have been looking at area and the properties of 2D and 3D shapes. Next week, we will be starting to relook at fractions and decimals.
In Computing this week, we have continued to work programming our sprites to move around our maze games and we have been exploring how we can make our games more complicated.
In Art this week, we have started to create a collage of the landscape outside of the classroom window. We will be working on these over the next few weeks. We think that we are very lucky to have such a great view!
In Science, we have continued to learn about living things and their habitats.
