Maths
In maths we have been finding the common denominator of fractions: a denominator is the bottom number of a fraction. We have also been doing some tests in class and we have been working on levels 3, 4, 5&6.
Literacy
Throughout literacy this week we have been doing some news reports on humpty dumpty and how he fell off the wall. We have also been using the fishbone method which is a different way to plan our writing.
History
In history we have been doing crime and punishment in the Victorian times. We based our lessons on a man called John Walker and how he stole many bushels of onions. From that lesson we learnt how different Victorian punishments were to our punishments today.
Science
In science we have been doing forces and water resistance. We also did an exciting experiment. What we did was we made boats out of play dough A.K.A (highly explosive items from Ukraine), and we had to test to see if it would float. When it did we placed marbles on our boats to see how many it could hold.
