Last week we enjoyed learning about space, planets and beyond. In our literacy lessons we have been reading a book about Bob, the Man on the Moon. We have been learning how to use question marks by writing questions that we would like to ask Bob. We have also been learning how to use connectives and adjectives when writing a story in the first person.
In our maths lessons we have been learning about fractions of a shape. We have concentrated on halves, quarters and thirds. We have also worked on mixed fractions with whole numbers and fractions too. Like 1¼ cakes, 2¾ pizzas. Some of us have also worked on fractions and converted them into decimals. For example, 2½ = 2.5
We have started our new science topic of plants.
Homework task: write down 5 facts about plants.
