Week 1 (8/11/19)

We hope you have had a restful break and welcome back to this wonderful term! This week the children have been busy recapping their learning. We have also started our new topic of everyday materials in Science. Class One had a brilliant time exploring and making a new material at our Science Oxford workshop. We all loved making and playing with the slime. In English we have been thinking about writing instructions and have attempted telling instructions to each other. In Maths we have started the concept of partitioning by using the part, part whole model. This week the class explored ways to make numbers to 10 using concrete resources, using the addition symbol and writing number sentences.
