Spring term 1 Week 1
Happy New Year! We hope you all had a relaxing Christmas break.
This week we have started our Victorians topic by looking at pictures and discussing what they tell us, finding out more about Queen Victoria herself and discovering which countries were part of the British Empire during her reign.
In maths we have revised what we know about odd and even numbers and started learning more about money.
On Wednesday morning, when we arrived back at school, a visitor called Mark Russell came to speak to us in collective worship. He talked about approaching everything with a positive attitude in our quest for brilliance! We are going to be focussing on this a lot more in school, so we are sure all of Class 2 will be challenging themselves to stay positive and will have a phenomenal year!
