We hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas. All of the Class 4 staff would like to say a big ‘Thank you’ for the lovely gifts that we received at the end of last term.
This week in English, we started reading an abridged version of The Secret Garden. This is our text for the term, we have begun by looking at the character of Mary. We have thought carefully about describing Mary using evidence in the text.
In Maths, we have been looking at the bar model as a way of representing numbers in addition and subtraction calculations. We will be continuing to work on this next week.

On Wednesday, we had a visitor called Mark came into Collective Worship. He told us all about brilliance and how to always be positive. As a school we will be developing this throughout the year.
