This week in maths we have been continuing our unit on statistics. We have been consolidating our understanding of drawing and interpreting line graphs. We have also been looking at how to solve problems by comparing different data. Next week we will be ending the term by learning about properties of shapes including triangles and quadrilaterals.
In English we have been continuing to write our own stories based on ‘The Wolves in the Walls’. We have been thinking carefully about how to use speech punctuation correctly and how to develop imaginative sentences. We have also continued to read the book, looking in detail at choices that the author has made. We will finish reading the story next week.
This week in history, we have started a group presentation. We have chosen a topic about The Romans that we want to learn more about. We will be continuing with this next week and will present our final work to the rest of the class.
On Thursday we spent the morning with Mr Morton in Class 5.
