We are fast approaching the end of term and the children have been reflecting on their time in year 2, both in writing and pictures. We compared the very first piece of writing that we did in class 2 with the most recent piece and were amazed by how much progress we have made. Having looked at our work, we set ourselves next steps for Year 3.
Thank you to those of you who helped your children learn their poem for homework – the children enjoyed performing them to the class this week. We have also been writing poems on a variety of topics – ask us what we wrote about.
In maths we have continued to work on investigations, aiming to work as logically and systematically as possible.
We were lucky enough to be taught our PE lesson this week by some Year 5 children – it was good fun!
