In grammar we watched Elisabeth explained to the class what a correlative conjunction is and how to diagram them .EG .both cars and motor bikes can go on the road. Tommy

In class we have started the river singers by Tom Moorhouse. The book is about young water voles who get introduced to the outside for the first time. We have been identifying things in the first 10 to pages. Macey
As we read further into the story we are identifying strategies that the author is using. This is broken down into: action, description, thoughts / feelings/ emotions, speech and development. The author used these strategies to move the story on. We used different coloured hightlighters to show the parts.
Topic – Greek day
We dressed up as Greeks, lots of white sheets and we made some paper weapons for this afternoon. Also we got to taste some Greek food which were bread, dips, humus, asparagus, grapes, tomato, feta cheese, cucumber, black and green olives, pancakes and stuffed peppers.
In the afternoon we had a Greek Olympus battle. We were Supreme Commanders, Captains, Hoplites (foot soldiers).
Topic – RWS
The class did their own presentation 6 people in R (resilience) 6 in W (wellbeing) and 6 people in S (success)
PE
In P.E we are starting to getting ready for sports day what we did was practised are block starts. Also we practised are long jump we got in partners and then we all got on one of the lines and we were trying to beat echoers record. Tommy
