Week 2 (11/6/18)

In English this week, we have continued to read ‘The Wolves in the Walls’. We have read up to the part when the wolves really do come out of the walls and we have been writing our own stories that continue from this point. Our challenge has been to make our stories imaginative, scary and exciting whilst linking our ideas to what has already happened in the beginning of the book.

In maths, we completed our work on time. There are some children who would still benefit from rehearsing telling the time, please let me know if you want to borrow one of our teaching clocks. Later in the week, we started our work on angles. We have been thinking about what a right angle is and then we learnt how to identify if an angle is acute or obtuse.

Some great homework and models have come in this week.

Well done to everyone who has continued to read regularly.
