We have been learning about metric and imperial units of weight. Metric measures include is Kg, grams, ms: cm, m, Km, mm. Imperial measurements include; is yards, inches, miles, foot.
Our work has been to convert a weight into a different measurement or a length into a different unit or measurement. So 45cm = 0.45m or 450mm; 0.9km = 900m or 9 000cm or 90 000mm

We have been looking at and writing our own Greek myths. A myth you need some sort of God or ruler, magical object and some sort of quest. When we thought we’d finished, we had to edit our work explaining why we needed to make an edit, we’ve been doing this new writing in coloured pen.
Then when we think we’ve finished editing we have been writing a self-assessment which answers any concerns about our written work, to make sure that we hit our targets as well.

ICT
We are making our own 2-player games on the Kudo programme.
PE
Orienteering, we are making up an obstacle course using PE equipment. Then we swopped with another group to try out a different course to see how challenging or different it was. We had maps to follow that gave us an idea of different points or locations to place or objects.

NO HOMEWORK THIS WEEK – MR M IS USING LAST WEEK’S HOMEWORK PLANS. We have shared out plans with a partner who had to describe it to the class. We shall be using them to write our own myth.
