This week in English we have been converting our own play scripts of Robin Hood into a descriptive and well written story. Here is an example: “Out of my way, little man,” the stranger boomed, seizing his staff to assert his confidence. ”That is unless you want a ducking in the brook!” “Step aside you peevish man, so that I may pass!” demanded Robin, pulling an arrow from his quiver. “For I am the better man!” Around Robin stood Sherwood Forest. He was in a clearing with a stream running straight through it. The bridge to cross was a mere fallen tree which was caked in sodden moss…ETC… |
ICT/Topic
| This week in ICT/topic we have been creating a stop frame animation of the Battle of Hastings with a recorded football commentary to go along side it. Some people used the given characters to create their stop frame animations but others used homemade characters. |
Geography
| This week in geography we have been making maps of Crowmarsh. We traced over pictures from google earth and then scribbled over it and then we traced it again over white paper and then coloured it in. Most of them look really good so far. |

This week in science we have been thinking of our own experiments and how to set them up. We have been making up our own questions that are phrased like this: How does the weight of a ball affect the amount of swings? One experiment we have been focusing on is whether the length of string affects how many swings the pendulum does in one minute. |
