Maths
In maths this week we’ve revised multiplication using both grid and column methods. Here’s an example of what we mean. 5234×7
| x | 5000 | 200 | 30 | 4 |
| 7 | 35000 | 1400 | 210 | 28 |
Next you add them together: 35000+1400+210+28=36,638
The answer is 36,638.
English
In English we’ve been doing Robin Hood and have wrote play scripts, and now converting them into stories. Here is the start of Callum’s story: Robin awoke restless. He hadn’t done anything for the last fourteen days.
Topic/I.c.t/Geography/History/Art/D.T
In Topic we have drawing maps and making stop frame animations on the battle of Hastings.
Our maps are of Wallingford and Crowmarsh. A stop frame animation is when you take lots of pictures and put them together to make a movie. Many famous stop animations are Shaun The Sheep and Wallace and Gromit.
