This week in English, we have been writing recounts about a walk around a Myst V scene. We all worked really hard on this and produced some amazing writing! We have also been recapping how to correctly use speech punctuation and we have planned our own exciting stories based on Myst V. Next week we will be writing these stories.
In Maths, we have been learning how to calculate the perimeter of rectangles and compound shapes. We have also been challenging ourselves with measures word problems. Later in the week, we revised written methods for multiplication.
On Monday afternoon, we all enjoyed cooking! As a class we made pasta with seasonal vegetables. We had fun chopping the vegetables and we researched what the roots of broccoli and cauliflower look like.
Homework task for this week – DT – Seasonal food task, due in by Tuesday 22nd March.
