This term in English, we have been working really hard on non-chronological reports based on the Myst V bubbles. We have been really imaginative with our ideas about where the bubbles might be found, what they are made from and who might use them. We have also started to look at the features of recounts. Next week, we will be writing a recount about Myst.
In Maths, we have been looking at time. We have learnt about converting 12 hour to 24 hour clock. Later in the week, we started looking at timetables and we have been solving problems involving time.
Next Monday afternoon, we will be preparing, cooking and tasting a pasta and seasonal vegetables dish. Please let a member of staff know if you have any concerns about this.
In science we have been making our own panpipes and we investigated how to make high and low sounds on a range of instruments.
Homework task for this week – Maths – Time task, due in by Tuesday 15th March.
