Maths
In maths we have done chunking to divide numbers of 100s and 1000s. We have also been finding which numbers are prime numbers that means not divisible by any number apart from 1 and itself.
English/Guided Reading
We have been answering a question on the River singers: Give examples how the author shows wisdom of the mother and the innocence of the young voles.
History/Art
We have been doing art of George Seurat, tiny dots that make a big painting. We are doing river themed.
Science
We have been doing research on plants: Which plants grow back when the roots have been chopped off?
Spelling
In spelling we have done short vowel doubling
Eg: plan becomes planning
