Last week we enjoyed preparing bread and painting pictures for the Harvest Festival last Friday.
We mixed together some bread dough and made it into a wheat sheaf as part of our preparations for the Harvest festival. During afternoon break we cut it up, buttered it and enjoyed eating it in the sunshine.
In our art lessons we learnt how to draw and paint pictures with a point of infinity. We had to include six pumpkins, a small house and a scarecrow in the foreground. They look great and will be on display shortly.
This week we have enjoyed having our three visitors from the Choko project. Elizabeth taught us how to count to ten in a South African language. In our art lesson we tie-dyed some fabric, used the sewing machine to make it into three bags and gave them to our visitors to take home.
In English we have been writing letters.
Homework task: Write a letter to someone else in class to tell them about your weekend or something you enjoyed doing lately.
