Here were my final words for Year 6 during the Leaver’s Service:

My Leaving Words for the Class of 2015

My prayer for you as you set off on this new chapter….

The pages will turn,

At the moment they are white, new and untouched,

It is up to you as to how the story unfolds

and the words that will be etched upon the pages.

Now is your time to take that giant leap,

Becoming independent

Becoming wiser

Becoming decision makers

Resilience

Integrity

Perseverance

Bounce-back-ability

Being the very best we can be

Keep in mind

The traits you have developed

Shake it off because

Attitude matters

A smile is contagious

Share it around and

Transform the frowns of others

Be mindful of manners

And empathetic to everyone’s needs

Always looking for ways to serve

Encouraging others with your words of praise

And standing up for those who cannot fight their own battles.

Resilience

Integrity

Perseverance

Bounce-back-ability

Being the very best we can be

Keep in mind

The traits you have developed

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes

These will only make you stronger

Practice and hard work

Are what make batman a superhero

It is effort that is the key

Excellence and responsibility

Now is your time to begin tomorrow

Becoming dreamers and goal getters

Becoming achievers and record setters

Becoming leaders

And making your own way

for others to follow…..
