Week 5 (29/06/2015)

Class 4 have had a really busy week!

On Tuesday, we all had a great time at Sports Day. We all participated in various running, jumping and throwing events. Then in the afternoon, we all enjoyed the relay races and we were very keen to cheer our house team on!

Well done to the Georgian’s who were the overall winners!

Then on Wednesday, Class 4 went to Hill End. It was another glorious sunny day. We all had a go at pond dipping and meadow sweeping. During these activities we looked closely at the animals and plants that were there. Then we all walked deep into the woods to have a go at shelter building. We worked in groups to build a shelter from any resources that we could find on the ground. When our shelters were built, we got inside them and then Mr Hannigan threw water over us!  In the afternoon we were able to explore the Hill End site more through an orienteering activity. We had to look carefully at the map in order to find the correct points around the site. Class 4 all really enjoyed the day.

Next week, we will be busy working on our sharing assembly. Please come and watch at 9am on Wednesday morning.
