I hope all parents who managed to make it last Friday enjoyed Class Three’s sharing assembly. I know the year three’s enjoyed telling you and the rest of the school about some of the things we have been up to. They all had so much more they wanted to share with you but unfortunately we only had one afternoon.
Also, it was wonderful to see so many parent’s for the whole school sports day on Tuesday. Everyone had a fantastic day, even in the heat, and took part in lots of races and showed a lot of team spirit.
Class Three had two ‘step up’ mornings with Mrs Corrigan this week. They were very excited to meet their new teacher and find out Mr Sharman would also be working with them next year alongside Mrs Johnston and Mrs Garland again. They were also told that they would be staying in same classroom next year. There will be one more step up morning on Wednesday 8th July 2015. This will allow the children to ask any extra questions they have before September to ensure a smooth transition into Class Four.
Trip details
Our Harcourt Arboretum trip has been rescheduled for Friday 10th July 2015. We are just waiting to confirm a few details but if all goes to plan we will get the go ahead for next week. Fingers crossed we don’t have anymore extreme weather to keep us away.
