This week in English, we have been continuing to look at stories with issues and dilemmas. We have explored different dilemmas that we could include in our own work and we thought carefully about characters. We then put all of our ideas together in order to plan and write our own stories with a dilemma. Next week we will be returning to persuasive writing.
In Maths, we have been working on mental addition and subtraction. Then later in the week we looked at using multiplication to solve problems. Next week, we will be looking at addition and subtraction calculations involving larger numbers.
In Computing we have started to create our own animal fact files in Word. We are also checking that we know how to open and save our work.
In DT, we designed our own money container or pencil case. We have started to think about the stitching that we will need and how we would like to personalise our work.
