This week the children have been learning about food chains. We have talked about the different plants that may be at the start of the food chain and the different insects and animals that could eat and be eaten within the food chain.
On Monday we went up the road to Howberry Park to attend a day’s training with Shonette Bason- Wood we learnt about finding ‘our happy’ as well as new and different ways that we can develop the children’s language, physical and Mathematics skills. On Wednesday we started squiggle while you wiggle using music to dance to very similar to write dance which you may have hear the children talk about as well as ‘Dough Disco’ which is dancing and manipulating playdough to music.
The children are practising for sports day with Mr Shorter practising running, relay, jumping and throwing.
In phonics the children have been practising writing using digraphs and trigraphs you can help at home by asking the children to find a grapheme (letter) when you say the phoneme (sound).
