Grandparents Week
Throughout the week year 6 have been guiding their grandparents around the school. A great deal of planning has gone in to this event. Not just tours but feeding the grandparents tea, coffee, biscuits and cakes. On the whole, it was lovely having them here.
This was the first grandparent week and it went very well.
English
During the week Mrs Barton (Head teacher) has come into year six to teach a lesson on the far reaches of space, and discovery of a new planet. Despite the project being in the planning stage, Year Six are looking forward to writing this ambitious project. We also looked at the Mars rover landing for ideas on our English project.
This has been a great week………….. But we miss Mr Silvester!
