This week in class 4 we have been very busy with our DT pop-up books. We started the week by looking at a variety of pop-up books. Then we learnt about pop-up and moving mechanisms and we had a practise at making these. After that, we thought of a simple Christmas story to use in our book. We then planned our pop-ups and pictures to match the story.
We were then ready to start!
We worked carefully to produce our books, making sure our mechanisms worked and checking that the book looked exciting! Finally we assembled our books, put a cover on and added some Christmas sparkle!
We were so pleased with our work that on Wednesday afternoon we shared our books with Class R.
This week we also enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch and we had lots of fun at our party.
