We have had another very busy Christmas week!
In Reading we have finished ‘The Firework Maker’s Daughter’ and we found out that the 3 gifts were talent, determination and luck. In English, we have started to write diary entries for Lila. We will be finishing these next week.
In maths, we have completed our work on subtraction. We will keep returning to solving subtraction calculations in different ways during our fluency sessions.
On Thursday the whole school went to watch the Creation Theatre production of Peter Pan. We all had a great time!
We have been rehearsing this week for our Christmas play. All children are expected to be at both performances – Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th both at 6pm. Please can all children be back at school for these performances at 5.30pm and enter school via the cloakroom door. Children need to be collected at 7pm from the cloakroom if parents are not staying for the performance.
