Week 6 (16/05/2016)

Firstly I must congratulate all of the children for approaching their SATs in such a calm and sensible manner.  Everyone worked hard, focused on the task in hand and tried their very best, which is all anyone could ask. Very well done Class two.

After a series of busy mornings, we were able to enjoy some creative afternoons learning about stable and unstable structures. We worked in groups, listening to everyone’s ideas to create stable structures that were at least 30cm tall. At the end of the lesson there was great excitement as we tested the stability of the structures. We rolled different size balls down a ramp to see if the towers would remain standing. A good time was had by all.

Well done those who have put in extra effort to produce homework of a high standard with careful handwriting and attention to detail. The children enjoy telling the class how they made their leaflets, artefacts, posters and quizzes etc.
