In Class 4 we had a very busy start to the week preparing for our sharing assembly. We started off by thinking about what we have learnt recently that we wanted to share. Then we split into groups to plan and organise what we wanted to say. By the end, we had written all of the assembly ourselves. Thank you to all of the parents who came along on Wednesday to watch.
This week, we have also managed to squeeze in a little bit of English where we thought about the differences between facts and opinions and we also had a look at a recount text.
On Wednesday we returned to our DT work and we started to sew our money containers/ pencil cases. First we had to cut the felt to the right size, and then we had to carefully stitch the sides together. When we were ready, we were then able to think about the decoration. We will be completing our money containers/ pencil cases next week.
