Maths
Fractions are related to percentages and decimals. We can translate a fraction into a percentage and a decimal. This is the type of questions we are looking at.
We are also exploring ratio using a Ribena recipe – how strong do we want it and how many friends are coming round so we will need to make more. We could even think about how much each serving would cost.
English
We have been moving on with Reckless and now have the Question “Should Will, Jacob and Fox bring along Clara on their journey?” Why or Why not, discuss. This needs a lot of planning to properly structure our writing in order to give a well-balanced dialogue between the characters. We need to consider speech, action and development.
Grammar
Wow – look at how many verbs we have been able to classify! This will explain how professional and proficient we are becoming with our grammar knowledge.
Geography
How the ring of fire volcanoes formed. We have been discovering just how they happened. It is our turn to write using technical language what we now know. Our class target is to PEE + modal language (PEE = Point, Evidence, Explain).
ICT
We were doing more to our ebook stories to varying degrees of success!!!! We can print them out.
