Class 4 have had another very busy week!
On Wednesday we had our Sports Day and we all had a great time. We all participated in running and jumping events and then some of us did a long distance run at the end of the day. We all tried to cheer the rest of our house group on throughout the day. Thank you to Mr Morton and Mrs Scott who organised the whole day.
This week in maths we have been continuing our unit on statistics. We have been learning about line graphs and how the data is different to that on a bar graph. We learnt how to draw and label the axis on a line graph and then plot the data on. We have also been asking and answering questions about data represented on a line graph.
In English we have been looking closely at the family in ‘The Wolves in the Walls’ when they are sitting at the bottom of the garden trying to decide what to do next. We wrote thought bubbles for each of the characters and then created our own freeze-frames to show how they might be acting. In our writing we have been continuing the story from the same point, thinking about where the family might go and live.
We have also started our transition to Year 5 this week.
