The quality of the compositions this week has been absolutely mind-blowing. The children are working so hard to improve their work and are showing so much learning. I can’t wait for you to see the finished products. They should be so proud of everything they have achieved.
Maths
We are nearly done with the first phase of area and perimeter having learnt how to calculate with compound shapes, triangles and parallelograms. Next week, we will move into volume but the area problems will continue to run alongside as we push them a little deeper. The arithmetic also continues to build as we develop speed and fluency with technique variation.
