On Tuesday we had our final step-up session in Class 5.
Then on Wednesday, we had our Sports day. We all really enjoyed the morning competing in various running, jumping and throwing events. In the afternoon we joined KS1 for the relay races. Thank you to everyone who organised the day and to all the parents who came to support.
In English, we thought about the non-fiction text within ‘Wolves’ by Emily Gravett. We then chose our own animal to research and we are now in the process of creating information texts about that animal. We will be continuing with this work next week.
In Maths, we have completed our work finding fractions of amounts and we started learning about fraction and decimal equivalents.
We learnt in History about Roman roads. We used maps to work out the location of the roads and we learnt how the soldiers managed to make the roads so straight.
