Week 4 (7/5/18)

Maths

In maths, we have been doing measurements. We have most recently been working on time. We have been working on converting analogue time to digital time. We also have worked on converting 24-hour time to 12-hour time. Andrew Hewer

English we’ve been writing a myth that we planned for our homework. We all firstly checked through our plans in marking groups and whatever we didn’t do in our plan we added on by ourselves at the back of the classroom whilst other people went into a marking group at the front of the classroom. When we finished writing up our myths we would firstly try and find some things to self-edit and then we went into another marking group with Mr Morton and we found some other things to self- edit and then we did them. After that we did are self-assessment and are self-evaluation. EDWARD MILLBOURN & FREDDIE KEABLE

Spelling

In spelling we have been covering the suffixes ing, ful and ed, we have been adding these suffixes to different root words to see the different spelling rules. We were tested on the spelling rules. Priya Wilford

Topic 

in topic we have been looking at Athens and Sparta we have be learning about democracy and how voting was like then and how it is like now. we even did a small democracy in class

ICT 

KODO GAMING LAB, is a 3d coding game that you programme a game of your own. You can also play it when you finished. We have been constructing a game using very strait forward success criteria that we had to meet. We then had a go at playing them.

French

In French we are learning about places in a town, the French alphabet, reading phrases and verbs and making town maps.  Freya Launchbury

PE

We have been looking at the official Orienteering symbols for map reading. Our lesson was a sprint relay matching up the symbol to the explanation.
