In English this week, we have continued to explore Stig of the Dump. We have been writing and editing police reports about the break in at Granny’s house. We have been following our success criteria in order to ensure that our work is, for example, organised, descriptive where necessary and is written in the past tense. In reading we have been thinking about how Barney and Lou prepared themselves for the fancy dress party and then what happened at the party.
In maths, we have continued to work on division. We have been building on our knowledge from last week, but this time some of the calculations have had remainders. Ask us to show you how we solve division calculations e.g. 457 ÷ 3 = ?
In ICT this week we have been continuing with our maze games. Now that we understand the basics we have been developing our own, more challenging games.
There will be no swimming on Friday 18th May due to the Royal Wedding Tea Party.
