We started this week watching a theatre production of The Hobbit. We all loved it! We have also been into Prayer Space this week where we had time to relax and reflect.
In English we have been writing and editing diary entries for the girl in The Promise. We thought carefully about what has happened to her so far in the story and how she would be feeling. In our work we have tried to include exciting description and prepositional phrases. We all set ourselves a target for our work and we tracked the evidence for this throughout our writing.
In Maths we have been comparing numbers using < and > as well as ordering sets of 4 digit numbers. Towards the end of the week we started looking at finding 10, 100 and 1000 more or less than a number. We have also been using bar models to represent addition calculations.
