This week we have been looking at objects and clothing belonging to a witch. We hot-seated each other (as witches) and asked lots of questions about the witch lifestyle! We enjoyed making up and telling our own witch stories, using the best story language we could think of. Later in the week we planned and wrote witch stories.
In Maths, we have been ordering numbers and learning about coins. We put coins in order of value and had a go at making amounts using different coins.
Our Nativity play is coming along nicely. The children have been practising their songs and rehearsing on the stage. Thank you to those of you who have helped your children learn their words. Please let us know if you have any problems with costumes!
TASK: Who can make different amounts (up to 20p) using combinations of coins?
Show and tell – the children picked for next Friday (5th) are Esme, Grace S, Ben P
