This week we are all back to normal with the SATs tests behind us.
In our English lessons we made story dice and used them to write our own stories. Our focus was to use traditional storytelling language. Using dice to set the main elements of the story was good as it resulted in all the stories being different. Everyone had the chance to read their stories aloud to the class.
We are getting excited in class 2 as Monday 6th July is the beginning of Science and Maths week. We have been talking about science experiments we would like to do in class. As we have not planned exactly what we will be doing yet, we want to make a big collection of things that might be useful. So please can you send in plastic bottles, clean glass jars with lids, corks, old tights, different size glass bottles, shoe boxes and wire coat hangers.
If you have any science books with children’s science experiments in them, please bring them into school and we can make our plan for Science Week.
