This week, we have continued to read our abridged version of The Secret Garden. We have now met Colin and we have been thinking about how Mary and Colin’s personalities are changing. In English we have been working hard to complete a piece of writing which compares the opening of the book of The Secret Garden to the opening of the film.
In maths, we have started to make links between fractions and decimals. We have been learning about the place value of decimal numbers in order to really understand what a tenth is. We have been drawing diagrams and pictures in order to help develop our understanding. We have also been learning how to multiply 3 numbers as well as continuing our work on learning times tables.
Thank you to everyone who came to our science fair on Wednesday. We all really enjoyed sharing our learning with you.
We have finally managed to complete the swimming assessments. We will shortly be notifying parents of those children who need to continue with swimming lessons and the arrangements for this.
