This week in Class 2 we have been reading and sequencing pirate stories. We have been learning some pirate words and using them in our writing. On Friday 19th September it is National Talk-Like a Pirate Day, so we will be telling pirate jokes and learning some more-tricky pirate words. Ask your child to tell you a pirate joke.

In our recorder lessons we have learnt how to play three notes, B, A, and G. We will stick to these three notes and master them so that we can play them with confidence and without screeching! I hope all parents are encouraging their children to practise their recorder at home, an absolute pleasure I’m sure!
