In English we wrote dragon descriptions using WOW words to describe the dragon in the story. We are getting better at writing descriptions and using good words to paint a picture.
We have also been writing up our science observations from last week when we were smelling lots of different things.
This week we have been learning about the brain and writing about the amazing things our brains can do. We made a list of things our brains can do, it was endless! We talked about the importance of wearing a cycle helmet to protect our head if we were to fall off our bike.
In maths we have continued to learn different ways to do subtraction. Last week we were subtracting by crossing out. This week we have been doing subtraction by counting back. We have been solving picture problems and making up our own problems to solve. Next week we will be doing addition and subtraction and making links between the two.
