This week we have been looking at what makes a good newspaper article, we have studied headlines and puns, then started to develop our own headlines. For our warm up to get us ready for English we have been doing Kung Fu punctuation. In grammar we have been looking at time prepositions and using the, an/and. In maths we have been using column method to add and subtract 3 digit numbers. We have started learning about borrowing.
We are continuing with our geography as our topic – this week we have been learning about continents and the oceans. In gymnastics we learnt how to make shapes – we have made letters using our bodies and practiced the straight, star and tuck.
