In English this week, we have been working on Myths. We have thought about possible settings for an Egyptian myth and we have started to think about mythical beasts. Next week we will be planning and writing our own Egyptian myths.
In Maths, we have been using kitchen scales to weigh items and we have been converting grams to kg. Please look out for any opportunities to read scales at home. We have also started to present data on bar graphs thinking carefully about reading the points on the axis. Next week, we will be revising subtraction and rounding numbers.

In Science we have investigated materials that conduct electricity. Next week we will learn about switches.
Mrs Barton came to talk to us on Wednesday about E-safety and we learnt about the importance of staying safe on the Internet. Our ICT topic for this term is E-mail, we will be using our school email accounts to send and receive messages. Throughout this unit we will be learning more about E-safety.
Speaking parts for the Christmas play have been allocated. Children with speaking parts need to learn their lines over the next couple of weeks. Non- speaking parts will be allocated as needed.
