Welcome back, we hope that you all had a good Easter break.
This week in English, we have been looking at play scripts. We have identified the features of scripts and we have been having a go at reading some short plays. We also learnt how to set out a play script and we wrote alternative endings to a play. Next week we will be starting to look at a simple version of The Tempest.
In Maths this week, we have been recapping place value and we have been learning about negative numbers. Next week, we will be looking at decimals and we will be multiplying and dividing whole and decimal numbers.
In Science this week we have started our topic on living things and habitats.
In Computing this week, we have started to create our own maze games in Scratch. We will be working on this over the next few weeks.
In Art we are looking at landscapes. We started off this week by looking at a variety of landscape pictures and we had a go at copying pictures using pastels.
Homework this week – War of the Roses crossword, if necessary please help your child to read and understand the information sheet. There is also a German task.
